Bukovel – the ski and spa resort №1 in Ukraine

Bukovel is one of the best and the most popular ski resorts in the Carpathians. Stretching 900 m (3,000 ft) high above the sea level, it offers a variety of services and entertainments not only in winter, but in summer as well. Anyway, the ski trails are main Bukovel’s attraction. There are 63 trails for skiers and snowboarders of different skills of total length in 50 km (31 mi). Oleksandriya, the Park Masterpiece

Dendrological Park Oleksandriya is the largest and the oldest landmark of park and gardening art in Ukraine. It was named in the honor of  Oleksandra Branytska, the favorite lady-in-waiting of Empress Catherine the Great. It was Oleksandra, whose idea to gentrify the suburban residence led to the creation of the most beautiful park masterpiece not only in Ukraine, but also in Europe!

Lakes of Shatsk – the pearls of Volyn

In the North-Western corner of Ukraine, near the borders with Poland and Belarus, there’s Shatsky National Natural Park – one of the most unique nature points of Europe. Over 30 hectares of impenetrable forests, rare flora and fauna, amazing landscapes and one of the largest lake cascade in Europe – around 23 lakes of prehistoric glacial origin. The most famous lake is Svityaz – Ukrainian deepest (58,5m) and cleanest (water clarity – 5-8m) lake. Lakes of Shatsk are of international importance and are protected under the Ramsar Convention requirements.

The Sacred Stone Tomb

This mysterious sandstone hill with caves is one of the world’s most important monuments of ancient cultures. It’s located in Ukraine near Melitopol town. This array of stones was formed at the sandbank of a prehistoric sea, presumably from the hardened sand masses. Over time, under the influence of wind and water, the large stone hill with 87 grottos and caves was formed. Ukrainians call it Kamyana Mohyla (Stone Tomb or Stone Grave)
